Depth over breadth.

We'd rather one person go very deep on one surface than three people go shallow across four.

Writing is thinking.

Every discipline writes. Specs, postmortems, release notesif you can't write it, you don't understand it.

Ship, then defend.

We publish specs, source, and security reviews. If it can't survive public scrutiny, it shouldn't ship.

Protocol engineering

Solidity, Go (Cosmos SDK), EVM precompiles. You ship consensus-level code and own its invariants.

Signal we respond to

  • Written production Solidity that has been audited and is live.
  • Comfortable reading Cosmos SDK internals and CometBFT flow.
  • Prefer a gas benchmark to a slide deck.

Systems research

Market microstructure, MEV, consensus-level ordering, AMM design. You design primitives and prove they work.

Signal we respond to

  • A published paper, a runnable simulator, or a specification.
  • Can separate mechanism from implementation cleanly.
  • Treat claims as hypotheses until tested.

Security & cryptography

Audit, fuzz, and model the systems we ship. You make sure nothing we publish costs users their capital.

  • Fluent with foundry, invariant testing, formal methods.

Interfaces for traders, LPs, and operators. You make dense protocol surfaces legible without dumbing them down.
